East Sydney Doctors in an accredited Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre and is able to provide advice and vaccinations for all your travelling health needs.
Common risks to travellers include malaria, other mosquito-borne infections, traveller’s diarrhoea, conditions related to high altitude and sun exposure, animal bites and scratches, traffic accidents and sexually transmitted infections. All travellers should ensure they have sufficient travel insurance to cover themselves for emergency treatment and evacuation if required, as healthcare overseas can be extremely expensive and the level of service provided in some countries may not be the same as that available in Australia.
We recommend coming in for an initial consultation at least 6 weeks before your departure, as some vaccinations require a course of injections, but it's never too late to come in for advice even if your travel is at very short notice.
