Dr Kelly Bofkin

Dr Kelly Bofkin is one of the newest members of the East Sydney Doctors team. Born and bred in London, she trained as a surgeon in the UK before moving to Australia in 2005. She worked for many years in hospital-based Critical Care specialties (including Intensive Care and Emergency at St Vincent’s Hospital) before becoming a General Practitioner.

Kelly has a wide variety of clinical interests as a result of her broad medical and surgical experience; she has particular interests in women’s and children’s health, aviation medicine (she is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner), healthcare in urban and marginalised populations, Clinical Governance/Quality improvement, procedural medicine and teaching.
