Dr Vanessa Farr

Vanessa moved to Australia from New Zealand in 1999. Since then she has worked in a number of sexual health and HIV clinics including Sydney Sexual Health Centre and Albion St Centre in Sydney and at Cairns Sexual Health Service in the far north.
She has particularly enjoyed her time working in community-focused settings and with marginalised populations; she spent some years working at the Kirketon Road Centre in Kings Cross and has worked at the Tharawal Aboriginal Corporation A.M.S in South Western Sydney. While sexual health, viral hepatitis and HIV (she is an accredited s100 prescriber of HIV medications) are a particular interest.
Vanessa enjoys general practice for its diversity and variety and finds it a privilege to care for people across all ages and stages of life.
