About ESD

We have been part of the Darlinghurst community since 1984 when our original clinic opened at 407 Bourke St (formerly known as 407 Doctors). From our humble beginnings (above the Greek cake shop) with just 2 doctors, we have grown into a team of 15 doctors, 3 nurses, 2 psychologists, allied health practitioners and an international medical research team.

All our doctors and staff share the philosophy of providing high quality, caring health care for all patients. We are also committed to providing education for medical students, medical registrars and contributing to medical research.

In 2008, we moved to 102 Burton St on the border of Darlinghurst and East Sydney. We are close to St Vincent's Hospital and the National Art School.

Our current location has been an art gallery for many years and our waiting room is a contemporary art space with regular exhibitions of local artists.

We welcome our existing as well as new patients to the practice. We hope that you enjoy the relaxed, community based and friendly atmosphere of ESD.
